ZAZZOO is a photo and video-sharing social networks that lets you not only create a personal profile, but also record or upload videos that you can spice up and send to your friends. The site mainly seems to be pitched toward singles, you if you're in the market make sure you enter in some catchy and intriguing info about yourself on your personal profile (most site users do not seem to be above cheesy one-liners).

Instead of connecting with people via regular messaging, ZAZZOO's users communicate via taped video messages. If you want to talk to someone, send them a video of you telling them what you want them to hear. Pimp out the video with one of ZAZZOO's many skins, and wait for their video response. If this idea turns you off, you can also send a traditional email. Apart from using the videos to communicate, you can also simply upload them to the ZAZZOO community (along with photos as well).

The rest of the ZAZZOO site could use some improvement. The profiles aren't exactly all-encompassing; the videos don't compliment, but rather, compensate for, a palpable lack of available information about other users. It would be even better if ZAZZOO could offer streaming video for webcams so that users could communicate with each other in real-time, eliminating the need for recording and uploading videos.

ZAZZOO puts an interesting twist on social networks by allowing its users to communicate more directly through taped videos. Especially in terms of connecting singles, this type of connection could be more promising than simple text message exchanges.
