YouBlogged.com – Digg Spin Off For Blogs

    youblogged

YouBlogged.com is an “alternative” to sites like Digg and Del.icio.us. What that means is, that it’s very similar in every way, with a slight spin. On the site, bloggers will be able to share the news they find interesting, and comment on them. It’s a very interesting concept, too bad someone already thought it up already. There’s no real advantage to having a site like this be just for blogs, but it could work out right and turn the site into a niche social sharing site, though I find that doubtful. The site looks interesting enough to capture our attention, but as it is lacking in content, it should be hard for anyone to take much interest in it.

Now, I know I haven’t been exactly positive on this site, so let’s give props were they are due. The Bookmarklets are very well done, offering a wide variety of ways to share content through the site. In short, if you’re looking for social bookmarking, try Digg. If you’re looking for Social Bookmarking for Bloggers, then YouBlogged.com should be for you.

    In their own words

“Youblogged.com is a place for bloggers to be heard. A place for bloggers to submit stories, interesting articles, and yes, even report news!”

Why it might be a killer

It could work. In fact, I really hope it does work. Maybe Bloggers will take a liking to it.

    Some questions

Digg, anyone? Will people rather use this “alternative” than the original service?
