    Yoggin.com - A Job Advertising Network

    yoggin

Let’s face it, job hunting is not fun. First there’s the sifting through hundreds of job postings, then there’s the tedious task of resume writing, and , if all goes well, the interview. Often, the jobs aren’t simple to find. Either, you’ve got to peel through pages and pages in newspapers and magazines, or you’ve got to hit the internets and search through a myriad of bogus jobs. Now there’s Yoggin.com, a new website dedicated to helping you find a job. Yoggin.com advertises itself as a job advertising network that not only makes use of a traditional job board, but also places listings across a network of partner sites. Listings are targeted to where you go on a daily basis: blogs, email, news sites, and article related sites like text ads. You can also post resumes by signing up and search for jobs bases on country, state, city, job type, and key words. Conversely, employers can search resumes and post jobs. Either way, creating an account is free and easy to use.

    In their own words

“Yoggin.com is a job advertising network that delivers job listings across a vast network of partner sites. By utilizing a distributed network, Yoggin.com is able to target the entire workforce compared to only 16% targeted by traditional job boards like Monster.com, CareerBuilder.com, and HotJobs.com. By combining a traditional job board with our distributed network, we are able to serve appropriate job listings to qualified prospects.”

Why it might be a killer

Yoggin.com takes the traditional job search engine and adds a new element. By developing an advertising network, Yoggin.com can target prospects that aren’t necessarily searching for a new career.

    Some questions

Will Yoggin.com be able to compete against the likes of Monster.com and Careerbuilder? It’s currently in beta, but its job listings is still sparse—will this turn away potential users?
