WorldChanging is in the business of making a difference. They strive to connect people with and through technology in order to spur on change. In order to achieve this, they collect and write reviews, articles and links having to do with emerging tools and technology that are innovating the ways in which we work and live. Subjects range from infrastructure and nanotechnology to transparency in politics and smart mobs. You’ll find six main categories by which stories are divided: Shelter, Cities, Community, Business, Politics and Planet. Besides the articles featured in each respective category, ChangingWorld provides links to further reading material—treaties, manifestos, stats, essays, definitions, etc. They do employ over fifty writers from all around the world, however community feedback, suggestions and comments are always encouraged. A WorldChanging book is also available featuring six hundred pages of innovative solutions for building a brighter future.

We don't generally offer links to resources which are about problems and not solutions, unless the resource is so insightful that its very existence is a step towards a solution. We pay special attention to tools, ideas and models that may have been overlooked in the mass media. We make a point of showing ways in which seemingly unconnected resources link together to form a toolkit for changing the world.”
