This novel web-service touts itself as the world’s one and only community for the best places on Earth. Though the site, you will be able to “buy” places in the real world – in virtual terms, of course. That means that if you want to buy the Eiffel Tower or the Great Wall, this site will allow you to do just that, and claim them as your own.

So far, more than 25,000 acres of land have been allocated. The site includes lots of examples, and an option for seeing the top places on a map is part of the premises. This list also details the top members so far, and the number of photos each user has is likewise weighed up on a chart entitled “King of Photos”.

A service such as this one obviously has no pragmatic uses, but I have to give the WYP guys credit for coming up with something different for a change. At any rate, if you want to have some fun and brag to your friends about “owning” your favorite place, this site is right for you.
