    WhatDoesTheWebThink.com - Ask The Web

    whatdoesthewebthink

You can’t beat the wisdom of crowds… or can you? If so many people share the same vantage point, that must have some sort of intrinsic value. At the very least, it showcases the common representation that the vast majority of individuals have when it comes to something.

Should you ever want to find the take of collective intelligence on the web, a visit to this site will not go amiss. In essence, What Does The Web Think will let you pose any question you want and then provide you with a yes/no answer based on the opinions ventured by other internauts. These opinions are culled from different sites, according to the question you asked.

For example, I asked “Is the Dark Knight good?” and some of the sources where online video stores and cinema review sites. (Incidentally, “The Dark Knight” was good – there were 1130 positive references and only 116 negative ones.)

As you can see, the site plays a very specific function, and if decision-making is not exactly something you excel at it can provide you with a sort of starting point. In finishing, a nice service that is nicely implemented.

    In their own words

“Let's face it - we humans can't decide about anything. You may have just found the ultimate solution in modern decision making!”

Why it might be a killer

Such a service gives everybody a good indication on the way the wind is blowing.

    Some questions

How complex can a phrase be?
