Keep all of your trip information in one place; hotel reservations, car rental information, flight information, weather forcast, maps, etc... TripIt.com was created by frustrated travelers who were sick of sifting through papers to find their travel information. They created a site where you can book tickets for the theater, make dinner reservations and get directions and have all of this information on one master itinerary. No more sifting through odd and end papers with notes of where you will be eating Sunday night. You save time planning you trip and have an easier time traveling with all of your travel information in one place. You can share your trip with friends and give useful travel tips to others. Once you join and create an account you can make a TripPlan which is your itinerary for your trip with all of your travel information. You can add friends and shar your travel plans with them and they can help you book tickets or give you advice on good hotels. TripIt.com was created to make organizing yourr trip online less painful.

At TripIt.com there is a calendar function that lets you see when and where your friends are going. Being able to invite people to your TripPlan is a cool function. Also TripIt.com thinks about your privacy allowing you to choose your privacy settings. If you don´t want riends to see your TripPlan details they won´t, only people you share your TripPlan with will see your details such as hotel bookings and restaraunt reservations. There is also a TripClipper function that lets you clip information you find online and save it so you can use it in the future. Did you find a resturant you like, clip it and add it to your itiniary later. The TripClipper is a useful tool for helping you plan your trip.
