If you like a bit of a ruckus, you probably enjoyed the recent upheaval when Facebook tried to implement some changes to its TOS – changes that were really not that beneficial to its many users. These turned out to be a shoot on the foot for Zuckberg and Co., and they had to take immediate measures to avoid permanent damages. Whether the solution they arrived at did that or exactly the opposite is not clear to me yet. Some were quick to point that the key is not really giving the people what they want, but rather what they need, regardless of what they say or opine. It is always best to know exactly where you and the service provider stand, and what you are entitled to do should the worst happen.
