ToonGum.com, the sister site of Gamegum, is a fun site that allows flash cartoon enthusiasts, creators and fans alike, to submit and comment on cartoons posted on the site.

Anyone who visits the site can view the cartoons, but members have the advantages, being part of the ToonGum community, of creating a profile to post their own cartoons or rank, comment and follow other members cartoons. You can view the cartoons by category or cartoonist, and the cartoons are rated so you can see if they are appropriate for youngsters. Members are given an incentive to be active on the site by receiving gumpoints. Gumpoints are given to members who are active users, for example submitting a cartoon, referring a friend, posting a thread, making a comment, etc.. Larger amounts of gumpoints are given for submission of course, but depending on how many gumpoints you have, you can earn a percentage of the advertising revenue, once you have made an Adsense ID. This site allows you to earn a bit of cash for your creativity.

ToonGum.com is a killer because it is a site that allows cartoonist to display their work and be rewarded for it. Although, I am sure that most members would join the site even if there wasn't any monetary compensation, because it is about spreading their art and creativity, a bit of reward money never hurts. The site is easy to use and a lot of fun, members will have a great time following their favorite cartoonist.

The gumpoints system seems to be fair with, submissions being worth the most points, seeing as though without the cartoons there wouldn't be a site. Hopefully the monetary aspect of the site wont be an issue, with people posting comments only with the hopes of accumulating gumpoints.
