I studied Spanish for 5 years before I went to Chile and when I arrived in Chile the slang and accent was completely different from the Spanish I was accustomed to learning. Nothing beats practicing with a native speaker. TT4You.com creates a social network of people who love languages. You don’t need to be a teacher to join TT4You.com is a casual network and focuses on conversation. When you register you list your native languages and the languages you are interested in improving in. You can them request an assistant who can converse with you either by microphone or chat. If you are uncomfortable with video calls you can choose to use only the microphone and if you don’t have a microphone you can use messenger. You can also volunteer to be an assistant and earn TT points which will be saved to your account. Learning another language can be difficult but it can be fun as well.
