To begin playing you must make a user account. Once you make a user account you can listen to music and bump the songs that you think are good, bumping cost you points but if the song you bump is bumped by others you are rewarded points. So if you have good taste in music you will get a high score. Once you reach higher levels, which happens when your score increases you are allowed to bump a song more than once. Any artist can upload their music to the site and their fate is in the hands of the users. When artist are at the beginning level they can only upload three songs, but as their level increases they can upload more. It is nice when a site has a selection of browsing options. Making a game out of the site makes listening to music more fun for the users. There is a facebook function for thesixtyone which will help the site reach more people.
It would be nice if thesixtyone.com would feature bios of the artists or groups. thesixtyone.com could also feature an articles section where any articles or news about featured artists could be listed.
