Didn’t think the web could get anymore socially interactive? Try thatsmymouse, a new app that lets you interact with others via your mouse. Share your mouse position with visitors on the same webpage. You can see where others are going and what they’re clicking on, what they’ve visited etc. Once you’re on thatsmymouse, you’ll get your own mouse avatar in the form of a small pop-up bubble christened with your moniker of choice. Now, for the socially interactive part: when you’re visiting a website which is thatsyourmouse enabled (a simple line of JavaScript on the page will do), you can simply start typing. A bubble will pop up making your conversation visible and you can see and chat with whomever you like. Currently, there’s a nifty demo of a Google Maps site that you can try out. Thatmymouse works on all major browsers.
