In their own words
“one tip to act on, every single day, to make the planet a little better. because it’s not enough to just learn, you’ve got to change a little as well. we have no sponsors and get no kick-backs from stuff we recommend.”
Why it might be a killer
TerraTips, besides having nice consonance, has a good idea. The environment needs to be save somehow, whether it be by following one tip a day or by joining GreenPeace. The tips are rather easy to follow and execute—they don’t ask that you change your whole lifestyle. You can do them and you’ll get that nice warm feeling knowing that you’re doing some earthly good.
Some questions
This site is well executed. The uniform color scheme and lack of motivational graphics could mean TerraTips doom. It’s far too bland to catch anyone’s attention and so far, not many people have participated on site. Will they add more features, ways to keep track of tips achieved, more socially interactive tools?
