Why it might be a killer
TasteTV did well to base itself in San Franscisco, arguably the culinary capital of the United States. Because the site reached the Bay Area's enormous cable audience first, they seem to have enjoyed relative success and publicity and have been able to finalize partnerships with several other food industry companies. The Indie Food Channel is rapidly expanding, adding new content and buying the distribution rights to shows that were otherwise only available on regular cable television. In comparison to The Food Network, The Indie Food Channel delegates air time to lesser-known chefs, which could appeal to those who have grown tired of Emeril.
Some questions
It's unclear whether TasteTV's services are available all over the world, just in the US, or just in the bay area; how much have they expanded and how much will they expand? The site itself is a little overwhelming and confusing, could they re-organize it for the sake of a more user-friendly interface?
