Switchabit.com - Send Content to Multiple Services

    beta

Currently in beta mode, SwitchABit has been developed with the goal of streamlining information across multiple social network platforms. Simply put, the site allows you to update all of your sites like Flickr, Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, Tumblr, and more, all at the same time. Think of it as a way of copying all of the various feeds anytime you want to post on any given one. Instead of having to go to each page and updating separately, SwitchABit simplifies things by allowing you to send the same update to all of these services without having to go to each site and manually update. To get started, register for SwitchAbit and then customize by adding which sites you’d like to send your updates too.

    In their own words

“Like the "Cc:" function in email, switchAbit lets you write content once and publish to multiple services. (e.g. Send a tweet and switchAbit will route it Facebook and Jaiku).”

Why it might be a killer

Without a doubt, it is becoming more difficult to keep your online life organized and up-to-date. SwitchABit will become a popular tool because it enables you to write once, and post to multiple sites.

    Some questions

Will this type of service become the norm or will the majority still stick with the familiar interface of their favorite sites and updating each one individually? Will they be developing the ability to be able check all of your sites’ various feeds at the same time as well?
