SwapYo.com - Exchange Cool Stuff For Free

    swapyo

Do you have old CDs, DVDs, movies, books or videogames stocked in the closet? SwapYo.com has the cleaning solution for you!!! You can get rid of the old things you don't want and change them for items that you like. SwapYo.com provides a service that links users that live near each other so they can swap items that they posses. So if you are looking for an old book or movie and have some old items to swap, SwapYo.com might be the place to find it.

    In their own words

"Swapyo is a cool google maps app that will help you to find people in your area who are ready to give you their music, movies, games, books, CDs, DVDs, etc in exchange for your used stuff, like music, movies, games, books. So have a look around your room - You wil find so many books that you will never read again, so many movies you will never watch again,so many games you will never play again, and so much music you don't need. And then, sign up on this site by clicking on the 'sign up' button, and tell us where you are, and what are the things you need in exchange for those used books, CDs, DVDs, etc. Then just use the map to find out people in your area who will exchange it with you."

Why it might be a killer

Because it is free, and and lets people get cool stuff without having to buy it, and also get rid of old books and CDs lying in the house which wont' be used again anyways.

    Some questions

Will the site succeed in getting a good number of users? Will the dial-up internet users be able to use google maps? Will people be able to find items that they actually like?
