SoldierWall.com - Paying Tribute To U.S. Soldiers

If you’ve ever had a loved one serve in the U.S. Military, be it past or present, you no doubt appreciate services and memorials that honor your troop. SoldierWall is a new website designed to offer a visual tribute to anyone that has served in the U.S. Military at any point in time. The site features thumbnail photos of soldiers which, when clicked upon, expand to include a description of the soldier and a place for site visitors to write comments. You can submit your own photo and description by clicking on one of the free squares which appear on the site’s main page. If you’re looking for a particular soldier, you can run a search by tag, keyword, or email address. Since the site is also a community, you can create a profile, interact by browsing for new connections and messaging them, or by posting in the SoldierWall forum.

  In their own words

“Post anyone that has served in the U.S. Military past or present.

Why it might be a killer

SoldierWall is a nice tribute to those who have served the United States in times of war and conflict. The site features many interactive options to connect users who might be experiencing pain and suffering due to the loss of a friend or family member.

  Some questions

Though the site claims you can create a new entry by clicking on a blank square, theses squares don’t seem to appear; why not simply include a button for submitting a new entry?
