The Shorty Awards is an online initiative that aims to honor the top users in the Twitterverse. The site enables you to nominate any person you want in any of the existing categories.

The five people that amass the most votes in each category will then go on a final voting round, and those who emerge as the winners will deliver a speech at a ceremony held in New York City.
