Shareling is in the carpool business. It’s a service which connects would be travelers without transportation with those who do have transport and want to split the expenses.

You need a ride, someone else offers. Simple. Post your offer or need, whether you want to take someone along, your dates, how much you’re willing to put down, etc and once somebody’s request matches yours, you’ll be sent a contact email. On the homepage there’s a Google map which marks out locations requested or offered by users. Below that, you’ll find demands and offers, color coded in yellow and green. There’s also a section for finding hotels.

This brings up safety questions. Will there be ratings later on? What about on-site messaging, so users needn’t give out their actual email addresses?
