Each group has it´s own aims and missions, and you may either choose one that has your interests at heart, or instead choose a group that has interests suited for your character. You may think you have complete control over your character, but you don´t. Your character is a real BAMF and won´t let things like police, impending danger, cute kittens, etc. stand in the way of completing a mission. So if you want to take a safer route, your character has the ability to take actions against your own good sense. Once you´ve completed a mission, you must then submit proof that you´ve actually done it. From there your points increase the further your success develops, and you eventually increase in levels from 1-8.
