Seekler.com - Instead of Reviews, Consumer Lists

    seekler

Seekler is a community review site whose primary focuses are lists and rankings which take the place of stars and inane descriptions on trad consumer review sites. So, in order to find movies, video games, shoes and the like, simply browse through the site's many lists. Additionally, you can make your own lists on any topic of your choosing. From there, Seekler aggregates similarly themed lists to give an over view of popular opinion. Each item on a list can be clicked on to review more indepth info in the form of a wiki. Lists may be filtered using tags or item names. in addition, there's a Find button, which takes you directly to a single item on a list, for those of you who like to get straight to the matter at heart without messing around.

    In their own words

"Seekler makes it easy to find and create lists of the best stuff. That stuff might be songs, movies, artists, comics, jokes, restaurants, or anything else you can think of.

Why lists? These lists are great resources for discovering new stuff. For example, if you want to find a new video game, you can quickly scan the list of best games for your system. Only interested in sports games? With Seekler lists, you can easily narrow the list down to only the games you're interested in.

Plus, creating lists is really easy. It's a lot easier to rank your favorite movies than to write detailed reviews for each one. Anyone can make their voice heard on Seekler in just a few minutes."

Why it might be a killer

Lists are much easier to read and figure out than long reviews or editorials. Seekler keeps things short and simple, to find the best of the best there's no need to wade through oodles of words and items. It's got curt precision, which is great for those who don't have time to read through reviews.

    Some questions

How accurate are the ratings? Wouldn't people prefer to have a little more info about an item than a list provides?
