The online real estate industry newcomer Roost, offers users a search engine and a platform for realtors. The search engine is pretty standard—you have the option to refine searches (e.g. for sale by owner, new construction, existing) once the results are displayed. There are sliders for filtering by price, bedrooms, baths, square footage, and year built. Searches may be saved, and recent searches appear on the side panel. To view details of any home, Roost takes you to the broker’s site. However, you can view photos and map location on Roost itself. There’s also a section for adding your own notes.
