Once you show up to Rize-It you can choose from a few different categories of news that you would like to read and/or rate. Choose from Celebrities, Football, Hip-Hop and of course War; sounds like an interesting array of news doesn't it? There are a few categories that are "locked" - read, not ready yet and there is a place in the top right corner of the website for you to sing up to find out when these new categories become "unlocked." Considering the strange mix of choices for the first four categories I am curious to see what they will come up with for the next batch. The articles are interesting, but no more in depth and interesting than articles from any other site.

The service that allows you to receive text messages on your cell phone when news in your category breaks is interesting. The concept about chatting about news in real time is great too.

The front page of the site is totally cheesy, the articles are no more informative than on any other site and other more prominent news companies offer the text messaging service.
