    RecipeThing.com - Organize Your Kitchen

    recipething

If your kitchen is like most others, there are recipes magnetted to the refrigerator door, stuffed into the spice drawer, and spilling out of someone's grandmother's cookbook. Luckily,
gor the disorganized chef, RecipeThing makes keeping your recipes organized as easy as, well, pie. To use this site, you'll want to sign up (for free) to be able to access all of its features. Begin by uploading your favorite recipes, which you can then share with other members of the community. You can also browse what others are cooking, either by user name or by tags that each user assigns to their recipes.

    In their own words

"Are your tried-and-true recipes lying around in emails, Word documents, Crisco-covered cards and crumbling cookbooks? RecipeThing lets you organize your favorite recipes, share them with your friends, and use them again and again.
We'll also save you time in the kitchen and the grocery store—just tell us what you want to cook this week and what you keep in your pantry, and your shopping list is done! It's fun, easy, and free".

Why it might be a killer

RecipeThing is not only a great way to keep your recipes organized, it's also a perfect way to acquire new ones from other cooks. The site is extremely easy to use and navigate, and the interface is clever and fun.

    Some questions

Will people really take the time to manually enter in all of their recipes? Can users add the recipes of others to their "Recipe Box"? Where are the personal profiles located?
