In their own words
"This is a brief explanation about why Raffle.it exists and our aims. Its not a guide on how to play, that's this way.
Entering competitions is great, they're free of course and you never know, you might win. In reality though they are not so free, you'll be passing your personal information over to the competition operator who will either use that information in house, or trade it.
So free competitions aren't so free.
But you might win, right? Someone's got to, but how many other people entered this competition? Could you even find that out? Unlikely.
So its cost you your personal information to enter and you've no idea what chance you have of winning.
At Raffle.it we set out to change all this. We wanted competitions that were completely transparent, where you know how many people are entering, where you control what happens to your personal information and where collectively you create the winner."
Why it might be a killer

It is nice that all participants are rewarded with vouchers even if they don’t win. Raffle.it gives users many options on protecting their information and keeping their privacy. There are many different companies represented on the site which makes the site fun for everyone.
Some questions
When will Raffle.it be open to the public? Will users be able to suggest raffles or other companies in the future?
