While a service like Amazon performs a similar function, the really interesting part of Playinterchange is the renting. It"s a decent way to get some use out of items you have lying around at home without actually having to part with your goods if you don"t want to.

Playinterchange only gives out playcash, so if you make a lot of transactions you"ll have to spend them on the site as opposed to getting a check. The site needs to gain a lot more traction for it to be worthwhile. More interactive features and a mailing service would be welcome additions.
