Pjio.com - Upload, Tag, Share And Play Video Games

    pjio

Pjio is a video game website where the community controls the content! Video game developers who upload their creations are rewarded with a share in advertising revenues. Players are rewared for community activity, every time a game is played, a comment made or a game rated credits and Karma are earned. The greater your Karma, the more active you are in the community, the more active the community, the better the content. Users will soon be able to redeem credits in a number of ways. Initially credits will be redeemable against community prizes, eventually you will be able to use the credits to purchase games from the website's developers and publishing partners - the details are being finalised on this.

    In their own words

"pjio, pronounced "jahy-oh", is a video game website where the community controls the content by uploading, sharing, reviewing and playing the games. Video game developers are encouraged to upload and share their latest creations and have pjio members give them creative and constructive feedback, and perhaps even purchase a copy or two. Developers can try out new ideas, showcase their latest creations and get feedback within minutes of release."

Why it might be a killer

This website might grow to be a killer because it offers the users a service by which they can become more and more involved in it. It also gives the game developers a percentage of the money earned by the ads that are displayed with each game!
