Unsatisfied with the way Digg presents images? A new alternative is Picli, a site that allows you to take pictures, and soon cg and natural media, and upload, comment, and vote on them. You can upload files from your computer, or from a link. Currently, there are two sections to view the photos to vote on: the “showcase” that shows the most popular images, and “upcoming” that shows the most recent uploaded images. Log in to get started and start sharing your opinion on people´s images.

People are unsatisfied with the way Digg does images, so this could be the alternative people are looking for. There are many photo uploading sites out there, but none that are exclusively images for voting. This is a great place for photographers to share their content and get some attention from the average web surfer. They´re already getting a bunch of press and they just launched.

When will their new features be working, and was it a good idea to launch with only one very basic function working on the site? Will people come to this site to vote, or stick with Digg for voting and other sites for their general uploading of images and other tools not available currently on Picli?
