Can't get enough of the McCain/Obama/election feeding frenzy they call news? Not to worry, if you want all the news covering the two presumptive presidential nominees, you're in luck. Look no further than Perspctv, to get some, well perspective. Perspctv is a simple new startup that's really just a mashup of 14 different websites including mainstream media sites like CNN or social sites like Twitter. And the news comes in the form of neatly presented graphs that gage the number of Obama mentions on Twitter, CNN or what have you vs. McCain mentions. Each of these outlets has live feeds that are updated frequently. The graphs allow you to see news from a different POV, without having to focus on actual words, but rather on popularity (or mentions). They also have a neat timeline feature, widgets, and an electoral map showing Blue States vs Red States. On the bottom, are the actual articles available to read in one click if you like

Perspctv is an interesting way of looking at election coverage. It allows you to take a new perspective and see how the media sees each candidate.

By not differentiating between negative and positive mentions, aren't the charts flawed? Will they get a more accurate way to chart mentions?
