In their own words
"Founded in Seattle, Washington, in June 2007, PersonalGrid provides a web platform for insanely simple file sharing. Built with dynamic languages to closely resemble a desktop application, PersonalGrid gives users of all skill levels a powerful tool to share content across their own private network of people, places, and things."
Why it might be a killer
PersonalGrid.com has an attractive interface that is easy to navigate. The demo video is a great way to give users a preview of what they can do on the site. It is good that PersonalGrid stresses that sharing files is secure because many times the information a user many need to share is personal. PersonalGrid allows users to share and upload all sorts of content which is great because anyone from teenagers to business associates can take advantage of the site by sharing music videos or Excel sheets.
Some questions
There are many applications, sites and networks that allow users to share content, how will PersonalGrid deal with competition? It would be nice to have some testimonials on the site from users who have found the site useful.
