Read the news much? Unlike the nightly TV news, people actually pay attention to it and vote and rank them according to popularity. Digg became News 2.0 and dozens of clones came forth as a result. So what do you get when you mashup all those clones, plus the oringinal and then toss in a few extras to spicen it up? The answer is OurSignal, the latest social news mashup. This one’s got a nice little twist though. Each popular or recent new story is presented in box form and colored according to popularity. So stories that are hot are the reds, yellows, and oranges—warm colors. Stories that aren’t so hot inhabit the cool end of the color spectrum—blues, greys, and blacks. Boxes are scattered about the screen and range in size and color. Click on the headline that interests you to read that article. It’s updated every 15.
