OpenSourceLiving.com - The Source For Open Source

    osliving

OpenSourceLiving’s creator wanted to do something with his overflowing list of Open Source links and apps, so he decided to share them. OpenSourceLiving centralizes and consolidates hundreds of open source links. They are neatly organized into categories like Web, Graphics and Photo, Video, Audio, File Transfer, and the list goes on. Click on a category, browse the list, and see what you like. Each site comes with a short description and site link. A search option helps you find what you need. Users can contribute and send in their favorite links too. There’s a forum for new and old users where you can discuss the latest and greatest in open source news. Register and you’re good to go.

    In their own words

“Welcome to Open Source Living, a collection of the Web's best Open Source software, applications and references for a zero-cost / top quality digital experience.”

Why it might be a killer

OpenSourceLiving is a nice online resource for finding any open source app you need. It’s got a slick and easy to use design focused on getting you where you need to go. It’s simple, but it works.

    Some questions

Will users need another open source resource center? Will they simply rely on their trust old bookmarks? Other sites offer direct downloads.
