In theory, ontour.net provides the concert-goer with all the necessary information to track their favorite bands, buy tickets, locate the closest event, and get there without getting lost.

Users create and personalize an account, specifying their city of residence. In this way, ontour.net allows the user to conduct a search of bands who will be passing through the area, when they will be coming, and where they will be playing. Every week a different artist is “spotlighted”, and users can track this band by the same means. Search results come hand-in-hand with an external link to Google Maps, for the directionally-challenged concert-goer. Like what you see? Ontour offers a widget so you can share concert information with others in addition to a download (for mac dashboard and vista sidebar) so you can quickly and easily track your favorite artists.
