Newsvine, which relaunched today as Evergreen, is the site to go to for all of your news. It´s an aggregator with a whole bunch of new features that make it unique. Like Netvibes and Pageflakes, they´ve made it possible to shift modules and add or delete them at your will. Unlike other news sources, you can even change the content that appears on your homepage. One of the features I really enjoy is their “News in Pictures” for when you´re tired of reading and just want to see the highlights in image form courtesy of AP. Another tool you generally don´t find on aggregators is the group function. That way, you can share articles between a group of like minded people with similar interests. You can even add your own newsworthy content to the site. The revamped Newsvine is a place I could see myself spending a lot of time catching up on all of the news I´m interested in.

It´s getting great press, and already has 600,000 readers. Their new features set them above other aggregators and news sources. Users can really personalize their site, which makes them feel more of a connection to it and causes them to spend more time browsing the pages.
