In their own words
“Our mission is to spur responsible adoption of social web tools by social benefit organizations. There's a whole new generation of online tools available – tools that make it easier than ever before to collaborate, share information and mobilize support. These tools include blogs, wikis, RSS feeds, podcasting, and more. Some people describe them as "Web 2.0"; we call them the social web, because their power comes from the relationships they enable.”
Why it might be a killer
NetSquared.org has an attractive interface. The site has a good deal of information and is well organized and easy to navigate. There are many tags for the projects which is great because it gives users the ability to find exactly what they are looking for. The real world meetings are also a great way for organizations to network and learn more about the communities that are in their area.
Some questions
It would be great if there was more media on the site such as videos of the real-world meetings. It would be great if NetSquared.org featured some general information on grants and other useful facts for nonprofits.
