In 2000, we sold MyCoupons to a Valassis subsidiary Save.com. The subsidiary went bankrupt within 18 months of the sale, so we were able to acquire MyCoupons back from Save.com before bankruptcy. As the marketplace changed, and the dot com bubble burst, our mother company (Direct Response Technologies, Inc.) began focusing more on their technology related services (DirectTrack and KeywordMax). MyCoupons was relegated to a self service model, with little direction or focus. Our community started dying off, and traffic plummeted. In first quarter of 2006, Direct Response Technologies, Inc was sold to Digital River (NASDAQ: DRIV), and MyCoupons was bought back by our Founder from DRIV post transaction. Since then, MyCoupons has undergone a transformation. We have been invested into again by our founder, we have expanded our staff significantly, and we put together a new business plan and vision for MyCoupons.
