MobIncentive.com - Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

    MobIncentive

Think you can chug beer faster than anyone on the planet? Would you pay someone to open an In-and-Out in Seattle? Put your money where your mouth is on MobIncentive.com. MobIncentive originally was an startup that was meant to inspire and change the world. Besides their Ron Paul Video Challenge, most of their UGC is little more than the typically amusing. Though MobInceptive is a bit unusual, considering if you do rise to the challenges presented on the website, you can win the pool of bets and receive a cash through PayPal. You can contribute money or fame points to each individual challenge.

    In their own words

“Find projects that you're passionate about, contribute fame and fortune to existing ideas, or create your own. MobIncentive lets you inspire change, large or small. MobIncentive.com is all about collective incentives. We allow people to set up an incentive for getting something done and let everyone else in the world 'pile on' to the idea. The hope is that if enough people get behind an idea and 'put their money where their mouths are', things will get done.”

Why it might be a killer

There is no better incentive than cash, and no greater glory than eating an entire watermelon in one sitting. (I voted for Ben) This website is fun but could potentially be a great avenue for promoting political campaigns or raising money for charities. Very inclusive considering one can vote without having to donate any money.

    Some questions

Perhaps making this a facebook application or creating widgits and buttons for your website that you can link to and vote from. Maybe they could catagorize these challenges more clearly, popular, recent, and money seem to contain all the same challenges.
