Doesn’t every little girl want to be just like Paris Hilton? At MissBimbo.com, around 200,000 users (mostly between the ages of 9 and 16) have already registered to play Miss Bimbo, which totes itself as a “virtual fashion game.” The game is about much more than fashion, though. Players compete to become “the most famous, beautiful, sought after bimbo across the globe,” by completing virtual tasks that include shopping for sexy clothes, going to clubs, popping diet pills, hunting for a rich boyfriend, and even undergoing breast augmentation surgery. You have to earn “bimbo dollars” to spend on important necessities like those, and when you run out of virtual cash, you can send a pricey text message to MissBimbo (or make a PayPal payment) in order to recharge your bimbo’s bank account.

The site’s British version already has around 200,000 registered users, while its French predecessor (“Ma-Bimbo”) boasts 1.2 million player subscriptions. So despite the controversy surrounding it, Miss Bimbo is obviously a game that a plenty of people find entertaining.

Miss Bimbo is getting slammed by parent groups, women’s advocates, and even French dieticians. Will this game be able to withstand the public outcry and threatened legal action?

| It's so lame that parents are trying to get them in trouble for it.HELLO, theres bad things everywhere for your kids to hear and learn from. Shows, movies, radio, music, etc. If you don't want your kid hearing a certain song because its contents, what do you do? You make sure they don't listen to that song or artist. When you don't want them watching certain channels on tv, you block it. So if you don't want your kid on that site, then block it, and speak to them how you feel about it. What makes your child SOO special that you must shut down that website and ruin it for everyone else? | ||
