Meemi.com - A Quirky Italian Social Network

Meemi is an Italian social networking site that lets you upload and share the "background noise" in your life, that is to say, images, text, links, and sounds. Basically, it's a really fancy way of saying that this is just another social network, but everything sounds cooler than it is because it's Italian.

On Meemi, you can create your personal profile and browse those of other users (though for the latter, you don't need to be a member). Like every other social network, you can add friends and communicate with them via messages. One thing that's different here is that Meemi features "channels" which are literally lines of connecting information. For example, if you want to search for "Lamborghini", run a search for that term in the "cars" channel. Needless to say, you can also post your own info in Meemi's channels.
