Meemi.com – A Quirky Italian Social Network
Meemi is an Italian social networking site that lets you upload and share the “background noise” in your life, that is to say, images, text, links, and sounds. Basically, it’s a really fancy way of saying that this is just another social network, but everything sounds cooler than it is because it’s Italian.
On Meemi, you can create your personal profile and browse those of other users (though for the latter, you don’t need to be a member). Like every other social network, you can add friends and communicate with them via messages. One thing that’s different here is that Meemi features “channels” which are literally lines of connecting information. For example, if you want to search for “Lamborghini”, run a search for that term in the “cars” channel. Needless to say, you can also post your own info in Meemi’s channels. To expedite its services, Meemi can also be accessed from your phone and you can add the Meemi toolbar to your browser.
Meemi.com In Their Own Words
“Meemi is a new way to share different media with friends and people all over the world.
For example you may share images, text in an easy and fast way”.
Why Meemi.com It Might Be A Killer
Meemi is a nicely designed, slick little social networking site that is great for anyone that lives in Italy, as that’s where most of its members reside. What it lacks in innovation it makes up for in style and layout.
Some Questions About Meemi.com
Once again, another social network. Do we really need this? Also, though the site has both English and Italian sections, the English section would serve a comedian better than it would someone actually trying to obtain relevant information about the site; it’s a good thing I remembered some Italian from high school or it would have been impossible to write this review.
