MatterMeter.com - What Matters to You?

    mattermeter

MatterMeter is a place for consumers to say what brands matter and don’t matter, to applaud brands that are coming up with real improvements, and to criticize brands that just aren’t listening.

Anyone can visit www.mattermeter.com and rate a brand. All they have to do is type the name of the brand they want to rate, and then click on the ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ box to indicate if it matters. Then, the user can share some details about why they chose that rating.

This way, you can find out if your favorite coffee shop matters, how people are rating the mp3 player you’re about to buy, and what people think of the latest trends in fashion or movies.

Ultimately, the site will let you see what brands matter the most and the least today, this week, and this month, and then check back tomorrow to find out what changed. You will also be able to follow other people to see what they like or don't like, and then reply to tell them why they're right or wrong.

    In their own words

“MatterMeter is a service where you can share opinions on products, services, and people. Tell others what brands matter and don't matter to you. You can then see how other people have rated those same brands and whether you agree with them. And, you'll get to see the overall rating for each brand.”

Why it might be a killer

It's a one stop shop for “matterizing” everything out there. Media, advertisements, and your mom might tell you how great something is, but only a widespread community of opinion sharers will give you an unbiased opinion.

    Some questions
