    LinkDoozer.com - Individualize Your Internet

    linkdoozer

The internet individualist would do well to shoot a glance at LinkDoozer, a new interactive bookmarks and favorites websites which lets its users post, manage, and share their preferred sites. Each user creates a homepage where he or she saves a homepage, bookmarks, and favorites, so that they can be accessed from any computer. Each link can then be viewed in expandable windows on your account page, eliminating the irksome process of manually re-creating your bookmarks and favorites on a different computer and having to deal with tabbed or multiple-window browsing. Additionally, you can share your favorite sites with others and write website reviews to help determine other users which links they should add to their accounts. Registration is free, and even those who are unregistered can still browse around the site.

    In their own words

“The idea behind the site was to provide a perfectly democratic way for people to search and research websites and pages on the Internet. LinkDoozer's distinctive approach improves on the standard Search engine model because it shows you what other people are using and not what companies pay SEO experts big bucks for you to be shown”.

Why it might be a killer

Brilliant for anyone who would benefit from having constant access to their own personal browser just as it is on their home computer. So, brilliant for most people. LinkDoozer makes it incredibly easy to access and manage your bookmarks and favorites remotely, and combines their service with a social network component that many of their competitors lack.

    Some questions

Which browsers support this application? LinkDoozer is a Firefox community member, but will the application work for IE or Safari? It’s unclear from the information given on the site. Won’t it be tiresome to manually enter in all of one’s bookmarks and favorites? Is there a way this application can automatically synch bookmarks and favorites from your computer’s browser?
