In their own words
"LifeAt is a private social network for your building which allows you, the resident, to actively contribute and improve upon your residential experience. You can think of it as a tool that allows for quick and easy interaction between residents and the surrounding community. LifeAt is hip, fun and easy to use. The best part is that you and neighbors are helping to provide contents and to keep it current so... the more you use it, the better it will get!"
Why it might be a killer
LifeAt.com has an attractive interface and is easy to navigate. LifeAt.com goes beyond local guides on restaurants and services by making a personal community for building residents. Sadly people never talk to their neighbors today, they spend more time locked up in their room on their computer. Maybe with LifeAt.com neighbors will be able to meet online and then feel more comfortable meeting in person after. You can never lean too much about your neighborhood and it is great to lean about it from people who live their. You can get insight on new restaurants by seeing their rank and any comments made. There is a lot of information featured at LifeAt.com.
Some questions
What type of qualifications does your building need to have in order to be accepted by LifeAt.com? At the moment there are only a few states with buildings featured on LifeAt.com. Hopefully buildings from more states will start to participate on the site. Also the buildings featured in the LifeAt.com communities are very swanky. Is LifeAt.com available for those of us that don't live in a chic building?
