    koollage

Koollage is a new way of getting info to your mobile. Koollage uses micromedia content in the form of pods or plogs (playable blogs) to get you the information you want. So what exactly is a pod? It’s like a bit-size packet of information featuring a combination of photos, images, video, audio, feeds and other content. You can make and create your own plog or pog on the topic of your choice or you can choose from a variety of other pods to get news. Currently up for your viewing pleasure are a number of channels including BBC World News,Simply Recipes, Celebspin, CNN, fashion, and much more. You can choose from any topic, be it travel, shopping or even cricket. You can search and review pods as well as create them from your mobile or on your pc. Pods can be viewed either vertically or horizontally (fitting for iPhone use). Simply sign up and login. It’s absolutely free.

    In their own words

A pod is a whole new way to do things! It is a unique multimedia way to package information, such as web pages, images, videos, etc. You can play the information frames like a movie, or go to exactly the part of the pod you care about. Sound cool? That's just the beginning...you can move the information around, add your own comments to it, and share it with your friends or family. Now comes the best part. People you share the pod with can also add their own comments to the pod, making it a way to communicate with people live. Folks are doing various things with pods! You tell us what you like to do with your pods.”

Why it might be a killer

Koollage is a cute, cool website with a knack for packaging information in a unique way. Smartphones are the way of the future so Koollage definitely has a leg up on creating innovative mobile technology.

    Some questions

Can Koollage win over iPhone users? Will users be satisfied with the snippets of info offered by pods and plogs?
