JuiceWire.net - Photo Sharing Social Network

If you're disheartened with giant, faceless photo-sharing sites like Webshots and Flickr and want a smaller, more close-knit community, pay a visit to JuiceWire. JuiceWire is a free photo uploading service which lets you store large amounts of photos for free, but it goes far beyond that; the site features an array of cool features. For example, besides the basic personal profile/making friends/commenting/rating functions that most sites of this genre provide, JuiceWire also boasts a file-recovery system so you'll never lose a picture, a slideshow, and advanced privacy features which let you hide the contents of certain photo folders from certain users. The site offers a basic service, which provides 2GB of space. If you need more room, you may upgrade to an account with more gigs, but this will cost you money.

  In their own words

"JuiceWire is a small and quaint little network that strives to bring glee to all of its users by offering a rich feature driven photo sharing service. To simplify, we store your photos so you can share them with your friends, family, and even the world if that is what you fancy. We have a bevy of features that should even entertain the most apathetic of users. The network is always growing and being improved for the users to come and those who are loyal JuiceWire fans".

Why it might be a killer

JuiceWire separtes itself from its competitors by offering a slew of features that other sites of similar magnitude, like PhotoZook, don't have. The interface is refreshing and energizing, and the overall tone of the site is welcoming and user-friendly.

  Some questions

JuiceWire could do a better job of making it clear that it's a photo-sharing site, considering its tag line is simply, "Free File Hosting". The logo and name are also so similar to LimeWire's that I wonder if copyright issues could burden JuiceWire if it becomes more popular. It's not made clear on the site whether the two are affiliated in any way, so JuiceWire may want to clear up any speculation.
