In their own words
“Since many employers don't advertise their jobs, make sure they can find you. To maintain your privacy, you choose what information to reveal online and what information to keep hidden (name, current job, etc.). Job Alerts make it easy to search for jobs. Have job matches emailed right to you without having to search on your own. A professionally written resume stands out from all the others. Make sure yours gets you the interview. Jump start your job search. Get your resume into the hands of more than 10,000 recruiters today.”
Why it might be a killer
Instead of being like most job searching websites out there, Jobs.net has a lot of extra features that will make users’ search quicker and easier. Not all job search websites give you the service of helping you write your resume, or distributing your resume to over 10,000 recruiters instantly. It is also very well organized, the Domain name is not bad at all, and it is a totally people ready website (e.g. any old grandmother can search for a job on Jobs.net).
Some questions
Aren’t the guys in Jobs.net in a very complex territory? Will they be able to even compete with Job searching monsters Monster.com, Yahoo! Jobs, Jobs.com, and so many others out there? Are Jobs.net’s special features special enough to compensate for the weak position they have against other giant competitors?
