IvyExec.com - Jobs For Professionals Online

    ivyexec

IvyExec announces itself to the world at large as “the jobsite for people who never trusted an online job board before”. They aim to gain the trust of users by applying a rigorous screening process – those who are registered members and interact through the site have undergone a detailed background check. That in itself is small from negligible, as lack of trust has been proven to be the reason why people are reticent to use sites where jobs are listed in the past.

You can browse the available positions by function, and some of the most popular when I checked out the site included “Financial Services”, “Marketing”, “Consulting” and “General Management”. And the opening screen also highlights some of the top tier jobs that are listed on the site at any given time.

There is not a lot to add, really. We all know how a site of this nature works – you find a suitable position, proceed to contact the company that posted it… The one aspect that was important making clear was the attention that is paid as regards offering users a trustworthy service. As I said above, that might make a difference for many a user out there, and give IvyExec something of an appeal of its own.

    In their own words

“Ivy Exec is the premier source for career information and job postings for high caliber professionals. What sets Ivy Exec apart from other online job sites is the rigorous screening process. Companies across industries post their best jobs on Ivy Exec's website because Ivy Exec members have been carefully screened. By joining Ivy Exec, you will get access to top tier job opportunities, and when applying for these jobs, you will stand out from the crowd as a screened Ivy Exec member.”

Why it might be a killer

It aims to provide its users with a framework in which they can rest assured everything is what it is claimed to be.

    Some questions

How long does the approval process take on average?
