There are many software or web service comparison sites out there, but Iterating has managed to provide a fully-loaded site that has a number of useful search filter options. You can use their matrix feature to compare similar web services, and you can look through their wiki database of web services using various filters, or just by looking at the highest rated ones, recently posted ones, or a specific category. The site is well-organized and incredibly detailed. Each web service is listed along with its critical information and user reviews.

In their own words
“There are more than 140,000 open source projects listed on sourceforge.net, covering most application imaginable. There are also a growing number of hosted software solutions, like Gmail or salesforce.com. Until now, there has been no easy way to find and compare all these software solutions.
Why it might be a killer
ITerating stands alone among other similar software comparison sites as the only one in its class to use the wiki format. It´s easy to use so that you can find what you are looking for quickly and then compare it to other popular products.
Some questions

There are many sites out there that offer software and web service listings, and have much more user-friendly formatting and also post more user reviews. Does ITerating want to compete with these sites by becoming more layman-friendly, or will it have a sufficient market to survive as it is?
