InvoicePlace.com - Manage your invoices and bills online

    invoiceplace

If you are a freelancer or consultant, you might like InvoicePlace, a site that organizes and keeps track of your invoices and even lets you make and receive payments through the site. You pay a monthly subscription of $14 (AUD) to use their services; it´s available for countries outside of Australia but they don´t offer a converter so you´ll have to check out the exchange rate for your country. The site lets you link up a bank account and a credit card, sort of like Paypal, and you use their secure site to create invoices, estimates, and receipts, and to make transactions. For the busy businessperson, it´s not going to burn a whole in your pocket and it´s probably going to make payments easier. You can sign up for free and manage up to three customers if you want to try it out before using it for all of your business. The site has pretty low-tech graphics, but it still maintains a nice, professional appearance, so your clients know you mean business.

    In their own words

“Manage your billing from any computer connected to the internet.

Why it might be a killer

This affordable service makes business transactions easier by allowing you to manage all of your invoices and payment in one place. It is so much easier to just tell your client, “The invoice will be in your e-mail box, and you can just take care of it through my online payment system.”

    Some questions

Why not just use Paypal since it´s already established and known to be secure? In order for InvoicePlace to get enough users to succeed, they are going to have to compete with Paypal and show that they are just as secure and bug-free.
