What does Iab.net do? The Iab's job is to ensure that the "rising tide that raises all ships" continues to rise. They do that by creating an environment in which it is easier for marketers and agencies to buy interactive. And while they are doing that, they also support members in streamlining their businesses to become more profitable and reduce their risk in the marketplace. Iab.net objectives are the following; to increase the share of advertising and marketing dollars that Interactive media captures in the marketplace, organize the industry to set standards and guidelines that make Interactive an easier medium for agencies and marketers to buy and capture value, to prove and promote the effectiveness of Interactive advertising to advertisers, agencies, marketers and press among others.
