Hordit.com - Store Anything Then Share It

    hordit

Most are saying that the cloud is the future. You know, the theory that you can keep all of your information online, in order to access it from any computer. Well, if you’re a believer in the cloud, then you’re going to love Hordit.com.

With the site’s service, you’ll be able to store anything, be it pictures, spreadsheets, PDF files, links, articles, etc. What does this mean? Well, that you’ll be able to keep track of your online life no matter where you are, all you need is an internet connection. Setting up the service is easy, all you have to do is sign up and start uploading things. Links and files are all neatly organized, allowing you to find them when you need to bring them back.

The downside to this? The download speed seems to be a little slow for our taste, making downloading big files a bit of a hassle. In no way should this deter you from using the service, as it’s one of the few sites that allows you to keep everything in store, without differentiating from files, links, and videos.

    In their own words

“Store vitually anything. When you need it… retrieve it easily”

Why it might be a killer

It’s a great service that foreshadows the future of the internet. Better download and upload speeds should make this a more effective service.

    Some questions

What will they do when Google starts offering something similar? Is there a sort of “virtual drive” planned for the future?
